Palladio's View Villa

Palladio's View Villa features gorgeous views of St John's East End and the British Virgin Islands from every room. A central common living space with open kitchen and dining area make Palladio's view the perfect house for couples and families with kids. The outdoor space, including sun deck, hot tub and pool make this home unique and desireable to travellers.

Enjoy the incredible down-island views, experience the unspoiled natural beauty and cultural history of St. John, interact with the unique group of people who call St. John home and re-energize your body and soul.

If your group is larger than four, you may request that the two single beds in the 2nd floor bedroom be made up into one king bed prior to your arrival. If your group is greater than four, you will also have full access to the entire house. If your group is four or less, you will not have access to the second floor bedroom/powder room.

Power outages on St John are common. In order to prevent power interruption during your stay, Palladio's View has a solar collection system with Tesla Powerwall battery storage to maintain all systems (except the hot tub and pool) fully functioning while the local power grid is down. There are no refunds for power loss.

Guests with small children should consider that there are a few first-floor interior steps with hard surfaces (i.e. tile) and that there are many exterior wood stairs.

It is about a 25-minute drive from Cruz Bay to Palladio's View.

Older villa

Villa was quite warn in most aspects. Doors, windows, concrete etc. deck railing shifted when I leaned against it. Great view though. Food and groceries nearby. Owners should consider a1M dollar remodel and it would be great. Definitely not for younger kids though.

Lovely home with great views

Our family enjoyed our stay at this rental. It had everything we needed. It was clean and had ample beach towels, chairs & coolers. I don't know why but I especially loved the outdoor shower. There is a pool there but we never used it because we were always at the beach! We didn't have internet the last 2 days which wasn't a big deal because a forced digital detox is good for anyone however, it was a little tricky when I needed to check in for my flight so I had to go down to one of the restaurants to use their WiFi. I could have called IT and tried to fix the WiFi like the manager told me to do but I just didn't have the time. It all worked out though. I do recommend renting a Jeep. You will need it! The road is long, steep and bumpy and will take you a good 15 mins to navigate each way. But that's how you get those fantastic views.....by climbing up! And they are worth it so don't let that deter you. It was a lovely house with a great view that had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay

Outstanding views from the property. View of the East End and straight into the Bight at Norman Island. Viewing stars from the hot tub is always special on ST John. There is no telescope at the property so bring your binoculars. No AC but the breezes were nice when we were there. Bring bug spray because you will need it outside and at night. I was also surprised at a lack of plastic glasses for use outside around the pool decks. Add some larger plastic cups to your list. We were informed when we landed at STT that the refrigerator was not working but the provisioning company recommended by the manager secured two large coolers to keep our order cold. Manager worked to get the repairmen over from ST Thomas and it was repaired on Day 3. They kept us well informed of what was happening. Coral Bay restaurants are hit or miss on being open right now so be sure to call/check Facebook. Cruz Bay has some road construction going on, so be prepared when you head towards the ferry dock in a vehicle for a significant detour and some crazy traffic.

Spectacular View!

We just spent a fabulous week here! We loved the moon lit hot tub nights and sunny pool days! It was wonderful to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the beautiful decks! Yes, decks! There are many levels and very comfy seating. The kitchen had everything we needed and very organized. Enough linens that we did not even need to worry about washing clothes. It is an adventure traveling up the hill and the view and visitors we ran into on the way made it very enjoyable. Everything from donkeys, deer to wonderful locals. We had everything we needed when visiting the beaches too! Chairs, coolers, and beach towels! We definitely would stay here again! Thank you!!

Amazing stay

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary! Our property managers at Windspree were a delight to work with. We had continuous conversation leading up to the trip. They helped us book our boat excursions. They reached out to us the day before arrival with clear directions to the home and instructions on entry. Upon arrival, we knew the drive up the hill was going to be an adventure, there is a YouTube video online if you want to see for yourself. Having a 4x4 Jeep made it a breeze and we became comfortable with the road up and down after a few days. The home was beautiful and clean. Just to note there is no air conditioning but there is always a breeze and the home always remained cool throughout our stay. With all the windows open and all the animal noises outside, tree frogs, it felt like we were camping outside, without the bugs. We didn’t swim too much in the pool but did enjoy several evenings in the hot tub. We would most definitely recommend this place to everyone and would stay here again.

Palladio's View is Paradise

Palladio's View was a perfect choice for my family's Christmas get away to St. John. The house was amazing in every way. The views alone make this house perfect. The house was clean, comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor showers, kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor living space was our favorite spot, from the hot tub to the pool, or just enjoying the sunrise on the patio was fantastic. The folks at Windspree were so helpful and made everything so easy. Thank you for a memorable Christmas 2020. Shannon December 2020

Phenomenal

Palladio’s View is nothing short of phenomenal. The views, the amenities, the quiet, the colors...all spectacular. This place has left a permanent mark on our collective family memories and we will be forever grateful! God willing we will return to this magical place!

A very home-feeling house with a great view

Beautifully constructed and furnished house with a nice floor plan that allows for family members to stay connected while being able to retrieve in privacy. The decks are also very private and comfortable. Some little issues were handled well. However, not being able to find a vacuum cleaner (and get rid of a few dead cockroaches on the floor) was fully unaddressed.

Perfect island paradise

Palladio’s View is the perfect place. The house is completely open air, extremely clean, and in a great location. It is big, with a sufficient kitchen and amazing outdoor showers. There is plenty of space and privacy for 6 people. The house is slightly difficult to get to but this is common with the roads in Saint John and it is completely worth the breathtaking view. We had an incredible experience with Karen and everyone else at Windspree was extremely helpful and kind. Karen took us to see the property herself and answered all of our questions in a timely manner, even available over text. Overall, we had the most incredible experience and highly recommend this house to anyone staying on Saint John.
