The room and ensuite were clean. The room was a little dark but medium sized with twin beds. Each window looked onto a small square court area between different parts of the building. With both windows open, it was well ventilated. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. There was a Nespresso machine as well as a kettle. The shower over the bath was very good, the temperature and power easy to control. The staff were courteous and very helpful, reception, housekeeping and restaurant. The hotel is in a good location a short walk up a gentle hill from St Peter Port's seafront. It is in east reach of ferry ports, bus terminal, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the Duke of Normandie.
