What a wonderfully lovely place to stay. Rooms are large and roomy and the bathroom is too, with excellent friendly staff and a wonderful continental breakfast included. They have made the necessary technological upgrades to make your stay enjoyable without losing the old world, charm and history. We will definitely be back! 😀

A historic building (1915) kept reasonably well. The staff were excellent and welcoming. The breakfast is really good. Had a very peaceful and comfortable sleep, Parking was easy if you were back to the hotel early evening, otherwise parking on street overnight. The location is good - just a short ride over the causeway to the beaches. Not much around (in terms of stores or restaurants) but ok for a morning walk.

This is my second time staying at Crystal Bay. Comfortable, clean rooms. Great retro vibe with the palm trees and fantastic building architecture. Feels very much like a bed & breakfast. Attentive staff. I left my IPods in my room upon checking out and Dani was more than accommodating in getting them sent to my home address. Breakfast served every morning is a great value. Will be staying with them again when I’m visiting St. Pete.

Super-nice staff, a home-like atmosphere, we booked one room with two double beds and were pleasantly surprised with a 2-bedroom room with 2 bathrooms. Great breakfast with a variety of fruits. Coffee and tea are available in the hall.I felt very welcome.

Hidden gem close to the beach

This was our first time staying here. 10/10. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great. Our room was larger than expected and had more than enough towels and amenities. We will be back.

Delightful historical hotel in an incredible location. Easy drive to the beaches and John’s Pass. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay for me! Delicious coffee, hard to find in many hotels ;) the parking was convenient but full by the end of the night (then again the hotel was fully booked when we were there) so something to keep in mind. Overall great stay, great price, convenient comfortable and friendly. Preferred their bed to the $640/night hotel we stayed in downtown Tampa the following night.
