I normally take about 4 trips to St. Simons island each year and rent a condo or house depending on length of stay. This was my first encounter with Ocean Walk Unit 8Q and the property manager Signature Properties.
The condo was clean, but there was a constant dripping sound that could be heard in both bedrooms. I do not know if it was the AC condensate line, but it was very noticeable. It was so bad that I had to rent a hotel room for my guests and I slept on the couch for the 1 night and did not stay in condo the 2nd night.
Signature Properties is the property manager for the unit and will send you a form that needs to be initialed and signed before arrival. Since I rented the condo 2 weeks before arrival, I paid the total non-refundable cost during the online reservation. Within a couple days the form arrived via email and it stated that there was a $50 Non-refundable damage fee to be charged. Before sending the form back I called the property manager and asked if I would be charged for this fee. The property manager answered very rudely the following statement: "NO. You have already paid the fee, Read your Invoice".
In summary, I will not rent Unit 8Q at Ocean Walk again and I will not rent any property if managed by Signature Properties.
