This entire trip was a horrible experience and I will NEVER EVER go back to St. Thomas! My husband and I pretty much was getting robbed by the “taxi drivers” they have outside. The hotel says the maximum they’re suppose to charge you a set price per person. Why when you try and get a taxi outside the hotel they double the price. I asked them how is that possible if the hotel has a different price and they wanted to lie to me. Other companies won’t come out because they say they have taxi services out there so they’re pretty much stuck.
On Friday night, after we had left the pool area we went to the bar to get drinks. Of course they are helping and servicing the white people, once I approach the bartender they tell me to go to the other bar cause now all of the sudden they can’t make drinks at the bar inside. Liars when I clearly just saw them making drinks 2 mins ago but ok.
The next thing was they have bed bugs! My husband and I woke up with bites all over our body’s with pictures to prove it.
And the cherry on top was the security that kicked in our door! They thought was were arguing which was actually another room, he kicked in our door. We had the “do not disturb” sign on the door and when my husband when to check who was knocking he had kicked in the door and hit my husband on the head and he had cut my finger due to me trying to unlock the hook from the door! The police was called & a report was made! We are planning to sue their ass!
