Okay but needs updates

The front desk and cleaning staff were really nice. Provided great customer service. Attentive and pleasant and helpful. The hotel is kind of run down but they do their best to keep it as clean as possible. The decor such as the curtains and bedspread and furnishings really need an update. And there's an old smell to everything in the rooms but I think it's coming from the rugs. The bathroom was clean enough though some of the grout had black in them although I could tell they tried very hard to scrub these old bathrooms. It was just a nice clean place to crash for one night, great parking, one hour out of New York city, freeway was nearby though you could not hear it. Downtown has lots of good restaurants. Wi-Fi worked well.

The staff was friendly and allowed me to change my reservation without an additional fee. It was outdated but clean and convenient location to everything near by. I unfortunately would not stay here again though bc the mattress was so extremely uncomfortable! They have hard, spring mattresses, me and the other two friends that stayed with me all were so sore the next day bc of the bed. If they put mattress toppers on the beds this could help!

A Shining Two Star Hotel

Very pleased with our whole hotel experience. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful when we arrived in the late evening. The room wasn’t fancy, but it was very clean and comfortable. The options for the free continental breakfast were basic but adequate. There was also free on-site parking. I’d definitely go back again. And definitely worth the price.
