Hilton? Better experience at any Travelodge.

Arrived at midnight. Emailed hotel at 9pm to inform of the delayed arrival as plane was late. I had a response from them 2 hours AFTER check-out the next day. Staff at reception (3 people at midnight) busy looking at computer screens rather than being aware of what’s going on in front of reception desk. Room miles away from lift. With large luggage. Inside the room no tissues to wipe forehead after all this effort. Had to use toilet paper. Poor room facilities - family room with one chair to sit on.

Great hotel walking distance to airport. Only grumble would be no fridge and there are no shops around this area so don’t forget essentials such as toothbrush or painkillers as the hotel sells them in a vending machine but they are expensive.

Very convenient and good value hotel. When I checked into my room the bathroom tap wasn’t working so I immediately called reception and they promptly moved me to a different (upgraded) room. Bar staff were a bit grumpy but breakfast (at 4am!) was good and staff very cheery and helpful. Overall would recommend
