1.When we arrived at the office to get access to the cabin, they didn't have us on the list of guests.
2.We arrived at the cabin, and discovered the door code we were given wasn't correct, having to take even more time to make calls and wait for a call back to get the correct door code.
3. No water as of 10pm the night before check out. We couldn't flush the toilet, take a shower, or wash hands, after hiking & hot tub (which we cleaned dead critters out of the first night we were here). So all of the sweaty outdoor activities, we were just dirty and smelly with no alternative.
4. There are nails popping out of the deck which, whatever, except if you're barefoot and catch your foot on one.
We aren't hard to get along but when you pay the amount of money asked for this tiny cabin and this many issues arise in less than a 48hr stay, is disappointing.
We brought these issues to the attention of management. They were receptive to listening but also wanted to argue about the dead critters in the hot tub. I expect critters in the woods; however, the hot tub had a latched cover on it, and had it been checked prior to our arrival, we wouldn't have been the ones cleaning it out.
We were offered a partial refund. We thought, "great, they're willing to do the right thing here". Our partial refund was processed for $25. This is what their guests' inconveniences are worth to them? The cabin is beautiful but we will not be returning due to the management c ompanys lack of service.
