Great value. Amazing location. Only downside, the pool bar/restaurant shuts to early, and the staff sneak a tip on your bill, or expect it even for poor service. Rest of the hotel and resort are amazing, there’s so much to do

Basic but good value family-friendly hotel. We enjoyed the good breakfast - egg, toast, bacon, fruit etc. A bit limited on cereals but still lots of other options. The pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers and shade available. Bedrooms are small but perfectly formed. We were very happy with our stay.

Great family hotel

Great family hotel with a good buffet breakfast. The sun city resort has so many attractions tho keep the kids entertained.

An Impressive Setting.

Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful. Functional and clean , caters for ones needs very well.
Cons: A later bar facility if only for an hour, the pool bar closes at 8pm. Maybe a restaurant on site, there certainly is plenty of room for expansion.
Location: The hotel is the first one as you enter Sun City. Just unpack your bags and look out onto the lake, golf course and mountains.Book a Safari and enjoy.
Compared to the rest of Sun City this hotel is good value. However it does not have some of the facilities of the other hotels, for example an evening meal restaurant or late bar. This should not detract from its many positives. The pool is absolutely first class, large, very clean, plenty of sun loungers. There is a large choice of fresh or cooked food for breakfast/buffet. Rooms are clean and seem well maintained. The shuttle buses are frequent to the rest of Sun City. Having said that most places are within walking distance.

Management of staff let's hotel down

Cons: Staff
We found the checkin and hotel shop staff to be blunt, unhelpful and rude. Although the hotel knew we had booked the room for 2 adults and 2 kids, the sofa bed had not been made up and we had to ask the staff repeatedly for sufficient bedding for the sofa bed. Breakfast was a disaster, with only one staff member clearing vacated tables and laying new cutlery the backlog and queue of hungry guests was reaching around the block. This occurred both days and is such an easy thing to fix if a co-ordinator was in place and aware.
