This was the first holiday without our families! Enjoyed this home so much. The yard was perfect for the little fur babies! The view was perfect and the coziness was amazing. House was clean and everything we needed plus things we didn’t was there. Definitely recommend!

What a terrific location. We enjoyed being right on the water. It was so convenient to keep our boat in the water to enjoy boating on Lake of the Ozarks throughout our stay. Kristy(owner) was so easy to work with. Would love to come back.

GREAT STAY!!
We had such a good time at the cozy lake gem. The house itself was very clean. The aqua pad for the lake was a big hit for the kiddo and the adults. Being able to walk over to Captain Ron’s for a drink and some food was so convenient. The host was very accommodating and nice. We will definitely be back next time we are in the ozarks😊

Great little lake house!
This place was perfect for our family of 4 for a short little spring break getaway! We loved fishing from the dock (still way too cold for swimming, unfortunately), playing games in the yard, and sitting around the fire pit. It was very close to everything we needed/wanted to do. The property and house are well-kept, and the homeowner was very nice, responsive, and super easy to work with. We would absolutely go back!!

Perfect Lake Getaway
If you’re looking for the perfect place on the lake, look no further. The house is so cute, was very clean and comfortable. Lake access was awesome, the dock was super nice also. We brought two boats, a bass boat and jet boat, we used a slip and tied off to the dock. The cove being no wake is so nice. Our yellow lab loved the location too. Kristy was very attentive and made sure we were having the best time. Communicating with her was so easy. Would love to come back, especially in the summer so we can spend more time outside cooking, there’s a gas and charcoal grill, use the outdoor furniture and have a bonfire. This house is very accommodating, has everything you’ll need and more.

Fantastic all the way around
Check in and check out were easy. Owners are friendly and communicate well. We enjoyed the fire pit, fishing, grilling, hanging out in the cabin playing games, and the local attractions. There is a sweet book that outlines the history of the property and the family that built it. Awesome experience at a great price!

Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay very much. We were a little late on seeing the Fall color, but hope to visit here again either in the Spring or Fall. The home is as pictured, if not better, in person. The beds were a little too firm for our liking, but not everyone prefers softer beds. Even with the firm beds, we will visit again.

Enjoyed our stay at Over the Rainbow. Cabin is unassuming on the outside but the inside was completely redone. We enjoyed the Maui mat and rented a kayak and paddle board from Pirates Point about a mile up the road.

An awesome place for a relaxing getaway!
Plenty room for our family of 7. Lots to do at the property plus it was so relaxing! Kristina was so helpful answering any questions we had. We brought things thinking we’d need it but it was there - should have ask. For example we brought a giant float mat and Kristina already had one there to use. That would have saved us tons of space in so we should have asked. The beds were comfortable. Awesome kitchen space and the backyard was amazing!! Highly recommend this place to stay at! I know we plan on utilizing again!

Cozy house in the lake
The house is very nice and cozy. Even patio furnuture and exterior walls are color coordinated . We enjoyed every minute spent on the patio, backyard and dock. Lyly pad the house offers is huge and provided enough water entertainment to all of us, especially to our teens. The yard is almost flat and at least half shaded, great for the games. We dined in 5 days. Cookware was adequate but it was not enough food storage containers. It was an easy fix by getting it from Walmart 17min away. Kristy is responsive and friendly. We loved it there!

February Getaway
We had a very good experience at this cabin. It was clean, well stocked and the location was close to a grocery store, which was very handy since we stayed during the off season. We did several hikes at the state parks in the area and the trails were peaceful and no bugs! I imagine most people want to visit the Ozarks during the summer but we were looking for peace and quiet so for us this was a perfect time to be here. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog who felt right at home. The wine, flowers and candy in honor of Valentines Day was a nice touch on our arrival!

Great host, great property, great location
Owner is very responsive, accommodating, and communicative. The house is very clean and well kept. I happen to stay during the record setting windchills and snow, so I was house-bound for a day. I was able to spend that time reading all about the place and owner's family history; which was neat. There was also plenty of room in the kitchen, so I knocked out all my Christmas prep. Given the weather, I wasn't able to take advantage of the huge flat lakefront yard but can only imagine how awesome that must be in fair weather. For any bird watchers, there were plenty of bluejays, cardinals, waxwings, and juncos visiting the property (not to mention ducks, geese, herons, and osprey out on the lake). Hope to make it back some time!
