Stunning views overlooking Swan Bay, Churchill Island and Bass Hills, Lazy bird's Getaway is 250m to the ocean beach, ideal for surfing or long walks – turn right out of the drive and it’s at the end of the street. Note: access to these beaches is by steps (no ramps).

Fully enclosed private garden, close to bottle shop, takeaway coffee, icecream, pizza and bus stop.

Surf Beach is the home of millions of migratory Shearwaters which nest from September to April in the sand dunes at Surf Beach - you can witness their arrival each night on dusk where the sky is filled with thousands of birds returning to their nest.

Lazy Birds Getaway is on a large shared block with a small cottage in front, each house has two car park spaces.

Lazybird's Getaway offers 3 x QS bedrooms, 2 x bathrooms, 2 x lounge areas, table tennis, bbq and outdoor setting on upstairs deck. Master bedroom opens onto the deck so you can absorb the view.

Bocce, monopoly, sorry, cards, backgammon are available

2 x bicycles are available to hire @ $5/day* BYO helmet. There is a bicycle path connecting Cowes to San Remo running right past the house. And if you are up to it, you can ride to Anderson and pick up the Rail Trail to Kilcunda and Wonthaggi!

All breakages must be paid for or replaced. Additional fees will be charged for loss of key, and extraordinary cleaning of spills on carpet, furniture, bedding or walls.

We recycle our rubbish – please place organic waste (vegie peelings, tbags, coffee grounds etc) in the bench top bin); left hand pedal bin is for landfill (soft plastics and food scraps) and right hand pedal bin is for recylables (paper, cardboard, glass).
Please place this rubbish into appropriate outdoor bins upon departure (or when full of course) –
Organics – green bin
Landfill – red bin
Recyclable – yellow bin
Can you please pick up dog poo from front yard and place into Green bin.

Our Stay at Surfbeach Vic
Maxine was a great host and has a great property in Surf beach Vic. We were to check in by 3pm but got there early, Maxine kept the home ready for us at noon which was great. The property is fantastic with all amenities. I would certainly revisit this property in the future without any hesitation and would strongly recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a great time at Philip Island. Paddy.

A Gem
We were thrilled with our surf beach accommodation. The multiple living areas and ping pong table were helpful in entertaining our teenager and the views were great. We loved being able to walk to surf beach.

Excellent property for an ideal holiday getaway
We had booked this property over the Easter break. We heard excellent reviews about the property and our experience has been absolutely amazing. Communicating with Maxine has been great and she has responded timely. The house is an ideal holiday getaway , great location with close access to the beach. The property is well maintained and clean and Maxine was very helpful. The late checkout was an added bonus. We had an amazing and relaxing holiday and looking forward to coming back again . Close to beach and bicycle track. Lovely spacious home would be good for 2 families. Excellent property manager friendly and very helpful. Couldn't ask for more the home has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely 90’s style beach house with decent views, close to the main road and Smith’s Beach. Lots of space and bedrooms, almost everything you need. Needs some airing out, but otherwise was a great place to getaway with the family.
