During our breakfast, the owner interrupted us to accuse us of not having paid for our stay. She claimed we had entered the wrong CVV number, causing the transaction to fail. We assured her that this was not possible since we used Apple Pay, but she became agitated and asked us to accompany her to the reception computer.
At the computer, she showed us a list of rooms that were supposedly unpaid. We noticed that the reference number for our room did not match the one for our booking and pointed this out to her.
Once she realized her mistake, she quickly changed the subject and told us to "enjoy" our breakfast while she sorted out the payment issue. She mentioned that the booking office was closed, so we could continue addressing the issue the following morning.
That was the last time she spoke to us about the payment. She didn’t even apologize for accusing us of non-payment or for her incompetence in confusing a date on her system with a CVV number, despite our explanation that we used Apple Pay.
I don’t recommend this place at all. It doesn’t look like the pictures, and the host is rude. Additionally, a guest parked us in and became angry when he had to move his car. To retaliate, he maliciously locked us out of the parking when we returned.
We ended up leaving our stay early because of all this.
