Nice stay. Comfortable room. Nice views. Great location. Hotel is a little dated. Hot/cold valves in bathroom are very touchy. Water pressure isn’t ideal. One lift broke down for over a day which was very challenging

Loved the location, perfect. Older hotel but still clean and had character. Used the pool every day! Our room, 118, was on the alley which had noise from delivery trucks and garbage collection which woke us up. We booked 6 months ago so I would have thought we would have been given a better room location.

I booked a room with the sydney opera house view but cruise ships were docked everyday of our trip and they blocked my view. So much for paying extra for that!!! Made me so sad!!

Great location, mediocre facility

Location and the history of the place are pluses, but the hotel itself is quite run down. Carpets are stained and dirty, bathrooms are tiny, tubs and tile grout are dirty. Outlets are few and poorly placed. Bed, though, was clean and comfortable.

The accommodation was very basic for the money we paid. Could of stayed in george street at any other hotels for a better nightly rate and newer hotel. Staff were not very helpful when asked a question they looked vague
