Great location
Brilliant location, only a short walk to Bondi and Tamarama beaches, and a great cafe across the road for coffee and lunches. The apartment was perfect for our needs as a family of four adults. We even enjoyed a game on the table tennis table!

Visiting Bondi
Gemma was so kind to let our family of five move in early. We had a very nice stay with plenty of room. The location to get to the beach, public transportation, and good food is all easily walkable. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. The sandstone in the apartment is beautiful, but it is pretty humid with the rain and the dehumidifier was a bit loud as others have mentioned. Not too big of a deal. We highly recommend Gemma's apartment.

The Best VRBO!!
This was our favorite accomodation for our visit to the Bondi/Sydney area!! The host was so friendly and accomodating....they are very nice and go above and beyond!! The place is incredibly clean and comfortable. It's also in the best location, with the best cafe right across the street!! We hope to be back here someday! Thanks Gemma and John!!

I came over to Aus with three of my children for a holiday to visit my daughter who is working in Sydney. The accommodation was as described and well equipped, and in fact the host was kind enough to buy us a clothes airer for bikinis etc (there is a tumble dryer and heated towel rail also). The accommodation did get somewhat damp following a tropical storm, especially in the back bedroom, however the dehumidifier helped, and it dried quickly when the rain stopped. The overall location is second to none, and a nice walk to Tamara and Bondi beaches, and a convenient bakery across the road where we got our breakfast croissants from (staff very friendly and got to know my name). My family and I would happily stay here again :)

Amazing place to stay
Highly recommend the Sandstone Apartment as a place to stay. Location is amazing and only a quick walk to the beach. The apartment exceeded my expectations in its size. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Loved the décor and the framed sandstone. The Host was super friendly and helpful. Look forward to staying there again in the future.

Unique Bondi Accommodation
The lower level of this home has exposed sandstone walls that are highlighted to provide a unique grotto-type atmosphere. The living space is large and we really enjoyed our stay. The only negative that must be considered is that because the stand stone walls are exposed, the apartment does have high humidity and during heavy rain, water actually trickles down the sandstone. This was actually a cool feature, but anyone sensitive to moisture or damp may wish to consider. Nonetheless we loved our stay.

Great base to explore Bondi
Thank you for having us at your lovely apartment, the rock detail was amazing and so unique. Walking discuss to both Bondi and Tamarama Beach, lovely cafe with great coffee and food directly opposite. The hosts father who lives in the main house above is very friendly and helpful with info about the area and provided us with boogy boards for the kids. The apartment was exceptionally clean and the main bed was very comfortable. Kids were on fold out beds in the lounge. The table tennis was loved by both kids and husband! Would stay again

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brilliant location near the beaches and easy transport options. Lovely set up to rest in between our adventures too, plus it was nice to have lots of games available to keep the kids entertained.

While the photos appear to represent the apartment, what they don't represent is the smell of mould or the damp clammy feeling you get upon walking into the bedroom. Water trickling down the exposed sandstone walls, and under the skirting boards onto the floor. This apartment is a health hazard and should be shut down. We had to move to alternate accommodation. The owners have not responded to email or phone calls, and a knock on their door before we left to discuss matters. 0 stars
