Room:
I stayed in the "comfort" room on the top floor. The room smelled bad and was cramped. It had a low and slanted ceiling so I couldn't use half the room and I am not very tall. The restroom made the bedroom feel like a penthouse suite. An average adult wouldn't be able to standup straight. No hand or bath towels were provided. There is a larger restroom on the first floor, which has a shower.
Host:
She was supposed to send me the access code to enter the house but i never received it. She didn't pick up my call so i asked my gf to contact her before i boarded the flight. Host texted her links to a digital lock app. The link worked on my gf's iphone but not on my Android. The app uses Bluetooth to unlock the door so i needed it to work on my phone. I texted the host but she didn't respond. She asked my gf to let her know when i reach the property so she can unlock the door. I had booked the room for 3 nights; I ended up leaving the next day morning because the host wouldn't respond to my messages and I still didn't have an access code. Worst experience and Hotels.com refused to refund me because they couldn't also reach the host. Never coming back to this site.
I booked the stay but never could even get a hold of them to get it access to the property. I believe it’s a scam if you can even get in I booked elsewhere and Expedia is working on my refund. I messaged and called the property and after my fourth phone call Less than an hour away from check-in. It was just going straight to voicemail so I’m assuming it blocked me. DO NOT BOOK!!!
Unclean, very strong smell of marijuana, door does not lock so there is no privacy. It felt as though we were invading someone's unclean unwelcoming home.

They over booked our room. Didn't tell us at all till we got there. So after a 5 hour drive, we had to drive around and find a last minute hotel. The house proprietor only informed us that the room and all other rooms were taken after calling multiple time and leaving a voice mail. Then told us to cancel the listing which would void the refund and didn't response when asked about it.
I booked and paid for a room for one night. When I arrived, someone was in the room. I was told by the property manager to come back later and I will have a room. When I came back, I was told by the property manager that it was way overbooked and that she has to cancel and send me a refund. I never received the refund and and had to dispute the charge on my credit card.
Disorganized and Unprofessional. Made this reservation 2 weeks in advance. Arrived over an hour after check in time. Was told that they over booked and had to make sure no one was in my room. Said that they didnt know I was coming untill I called for door code. Asked I wait 15 minutes till they arrived, ended up being 30. Talked to Expedia hoping to get a refund and go somewhere else. Expedia customer service responded "I should just wait". Finally made it into room smelled of cigarettes and the hosts seemed mad at me. Wanting to go get some dinner i asked to be texted door code. Host said okay with attitude, then slamming door stomping upstairs. I waited 15 or so minutes for a text with door code so I could get my stuff and not get locked out. Hungry and tired I walked out to my car and instead drove away. Code never came, however I did recieve a couple calls and texts during driving from host asking if I was going to stay since I left room door open. Host said he's gonna let Expedia know. Please do, Expirence so bad that your guest ran from the property. Will NOT be using Expedia again after this.
I got to the place and I was trying to find my room. Naked people having sex in “my room” rapidly left and got in the bathroom. I called the number and requested my money back. I was told that it was ok and I could send a report to Expedia. That it wasn’t the first time. They laughed at the matter instead of canceling my stay. Horrible place. Stinky, smelled really bad.
I wasnt sure what i rented until i got there and realized it was a house. I didn't have my code but they were nice about it. It is a bit confusing to find because the house was painted but you could do far worse then ending up here for the price. Nice TV but the room is small.
1. I had problems getting in the house when I got there because it requires a code that I never received in my email, but I was able to get the contact information by another person staying there so I could can in.
2. I booked a signature room which would have a king size bed and would be down stairs, and got a comfort room that I believe was a double bed which is upstairs I have problems climbing stairs being that I have a handicap, breakfast was stated that it would be included, but when I went down to get breakfast there was some cereal but when I opened the refrigerator I found a gallon of milk that says "NO GUEST", there was nothing else for breakfast.
3. There was no soap supplied in the bathroom upstairs to be able to wash your hands after going to the restroom and no towel.
4. It smelt of cigarettes and marijuana, and when I went down in the morning there was somebody sleeping in the living room (which is supposed to be a shared area for everybody staying there).
I paid in advance and when we got there we were told by an exceptionally rude woman that she had double booked the room and we wouldn't be able to stay there. She then lied by saying she would phone Expedia and arrange alternative accommodation, this didn't happen. I see with the more recent reviews this is becoming quite a habit for this place, it looks like it's a scale to me. Luckily Expedia were very good and refunded us very quickly.

The house stink from cigarettes and weed. But it’s clean
I arrived on a Wednesday and before i even got to the property amy the owner reached out to me and welcomed me . Gave me instructions on how to get into property… once we arrived we were very impressed felt like i was staying at my family’s home … whenever i needed anything amy was super quick to answer questions or get me what i needed …. Clean linen clean bathroom … my room was upstairs, but due to my friends disability, they were more than gracious to accommodate us with the room downstairs without us even asking they went ahead and switched us rooms, which was very amazing. We are very grateful for that. They are very friendly…. You have full access to kitchen and living area …before we checked out on friday amy blessed us with her beautiful smile and thanked for our stay .. we in return thanked her hospitality and for her, opening her home to us…when i come back to Washington i will definitely not stay at any local hotels i will be staying at amy and dales homestay.. me and Chiquita give this 2 thumbs up .. we can only imagine how beautiful it is in winter time…
Slept in a storage room, no shower. You have to go downstairs in the main house to shower. We gett youthere no towels or soap.

I experienced the same as a few other reviewers mentioned - I didn’t receive any check-in instructions via email and the property didn’t answer the phone or return my voicemail. Expedia was also unable to reach them. After some wasted time waiting outside, I went somewhere else. This place might be okay if booking 2 days in advance, maybe they need more time to send the check-in email but they’re not responsive at all by phone if there are any issues.
I did not realize this was an Airbnb until I got to the house and I couldn’t get in. I tried and I tried and I tried to contact the Host with no luck after having to go to the bathroom badly. I left, got in touch with Hotels.com they of course could not get a hold of the host, so two hours later I finally ended in a hotel down the road with the help of Hotels.com. The host finally got back to me (AFTER i found another place to stay) and she or he told me I was being rude because of my frustration of being stuck outside with ZERO response for hours. I recommend you not not waste your time or money unless you want to be stranded outside a unkept yard waiting on a Host that never gets back in touch with you because their phone is “out of service while at work” and then you finally have to leave, You’re told your the rude one. Full disclosure I probably was rude after sitting there for two hours and not getting a response
