I don't even know where to begin. Six friends and I were travelling to Tampa for a short stay of 4 days and 3 nights. We booked our VRBO 3 weeks before we were set to arrive. This company gave us 3 different addresses of where the home was. They also had us booked for the wrong days. I was on the phone with the property managers, Expedia, VRBO customer service, and Homeaway customer service for in total around 14 hours. Nobody would give us a straight answer or help us out. Finally, at 7 PM THE DAY BEFORE we were set to check in, the property manager finally admitted he had double booked the property and had nowhere for us to stay. To make up for this disaster of a mistake he booked us for one night in a loft that was fit for 4 people. He said he'd give us air mattresses for people to sleep on as we had 7 guests in total. He gave us three air mattresses but no air pump to pump them up. The floor was disgusting and our feet turned black after walking on it for 30 minutes. The sheets were gross and clearly not washed. Additionally, we were not in a nice neighborhood and I was genuinely nervous to be staying there. The next morning we had to pack up and go to the home he had booked for us in another sketchy neighborhood. This place was disgusting. The pool was dirty, there was pool/outdoor furniture in the house being used as dining room furniture. There were unwashed dishes in the drawers, the fridge didn't get cold and was sticky, there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and the showers had dirt everywhere and was moldy. The beds were not comfortable and the sheets felt like paper. Our windows would not close because they were broken and wouldn't lock at all. The home overall lacked the basic necessities that we needed to have a great experience. Overall, if you want to have an enjoyable time in Tampa, DO NOT RENT from any of the properties affiliated with these people and this management company. They made our trip a living nightmare and I will never book with Expedia, Homeaway, or VRBO EVER AGAIN.
