"Unfortunately I cannot recommend the hotel, given the poor value for money. At NZD 477 per night, I expected much more in terms of both quality and service. The breakfast was extremely limited, offering only a basic continental set, along with scrambled eggs, beans, and sausages. There was no real bread, just toast, and no vegan milk options, which felt quite outdated. Instead, they charged NZD 7 extra for a coffee with oat milk to accompany your breakfast… The facilities were disappointing, especially the pool, which was both outdated and not particularly clean. Another challenge was that you had to carry your bags up the stairs to the lobby, over uneven floors, and across high door sills, which was an inconvenience. We also had dinner in their indoor restaurant, and there were ants crawling under the table and on our feet. It was clear they hadn’t vacuumed the floor, and food debris was left sitting around. The only redeeming feature was the lake view and direct access to the water, which was lovely. It wasn’t enough however to make up for the overall disappointment. For half the price, our stay at Pullman in Auckland was far superior, with much better quality and service. Millennium hotel definitely didn’t live up to its price tag."

"Das Resort ist eine Mischung aus Motel und Campingplatz. Die Ausstattung des Campingbereichs und der Motel-Zimmer sind super. Wir hatten eine Küchenzeile, ein großes Bad und eine Terasse. Alles aich sehr sauber. Auch kann man für 14$ pro Nase das dazugehörige Spa mit beheizten Außenpools und überdachten privaten kleinen Pools. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort ein Zimmer buchen."

"Ruhige Lage, < 10 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Ortskern entfernt. Dort gibt es gute Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen bzw. Essen zu gehen oder für einen Spaziergang am See. Unser Zimmer hatte Seeblick und wir konnten herrliche Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich, insbesondere Nga und Alice an der Rezeption, aber auch das im Restaurant. Das angebotene Abendessen ist frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden. "
