We are still on the property this morning, our last day. Picture rolling hills, oaks, vineyards, which seem (and are) within arms reach from the comfort of the cabin, one of three dwellings on the property. It's chilly outside (32 deg. F at sunrise) and sunny while toasty warm inside. A small electric furnace provides sufficient heat on its lowest setting (we turned it off at night our second night as it proved to be too warm the first night). The cabin is comfortable, quaint, cozy, charming, rustic, yet conveys a modern touch (flat screen, coffee maker, toaster oven, apparent new flooring, throw rugs). Hot water is nearly instantaneous. The shower worked exceedingly well; an overhead space heater in the bathroom warms the room quickly.
We chose this property as a place to visit with two other couples while maintaining sufficient distance from each other. There is ample outdoor seating (the Farm House is the place to gather outside, as it provides a generous view overlooking the countryside). We enjoyed seeing the inside of each of the three dwellings. As a place to gather and visit this property is exceptional. It's peaceful here.
The resident lab, Percy, dropped by daily. She's friendly and well behaved, a lovely dog and apparently well-loved pet, a reflection of the kindness and good nature of her owner(s), whom we did not chance to meet.
This is a great place to spend time with friends and family. Morro Bay is a short 30 minute drive; Cambria is even closer. And it's a short five minute drive back into "civilization" for Starbucks and other essentials. Wifi worked well.
Do bring drinking water. Tap water is fine but has a an off-putting taste. You'll appreciate doing so if you brew your own coffee. Enjoy!
