The property was nice and communication with the owner was very good.
We have stayed at other similar properties in the area and although we did have a good stay, I will add the following:
When we arrived, several of our guests had driven to Michigan from Pennsylvania that day. When we arrived and went to start dinner, we uncovered the grill and saw it was a charcoal grill which is a first for us. We like using charcoal, but there wasn't any available there, or charcoal lighter. Not knowing the area, off we went in search or charcoal on a Sunday evening. The Hardware was closed, and after doing some searches, we found a Dollar store, and 2 hours after trying to grill, we were in business. I sent an email to the owner, and she responded that it says this in their property description, which it didn't.
Then, later that evening when we went to have a campfire and we walked over to the wood pile, it had a sign that we could not use their wood!!!
We have cords of wood at our property piled up, and again, if we had known this, we would have brought our own. at this point, it was too late to run out, and we decided that we would not use the fire pit and do a wood supplier search for the rest of the trip.
These items are provided at every other rental that we have had.
Believe it or not, there are people that do not know how to use a charcoal grill properly and not to have a gas grill is not a good decision.
Lastly, if you are old like us, know that the stairs to the river are long
