This was a solid stay. It was well kept and clean but could definitely use some upgrades. Like the dining chairs are very worn out and one is broken, very squeaky metal bunk bed, one door is very “sticky” so you can’t close it—the one with the single bunk beds—all the door hinges squeak loudly, and the shades in the bedroom don’t block out much light for early or late sleep ins … just small stuff, but it’s all functional and provides lots of seating for large groups. Some parts of the house are old, but a lot has been well maintained or upgraded. The upgrades are a bit rough around the edges, but it’s clear that the place is well looked after and is clean and comfortable and it has everything you need, including board games which is very thoughtful. I was confused when booking because it says the whole house is yours but there is actually another “unit” in/above the garage? Not sure. But we never heard the other person while there. Also I wish there was a photo of the exterior in the listing. It’s actually pretty nice. It’s not a lot of square footage but the layout has a nice flow so your not bumping into people all the time and it’s nice that there are three bedrooms (one with an en-suite). It was 30 degrees in the daytime when we were there but the place has a few fans and it helps if you open the place up in the evening and it cools right off. I didn’t check if the couch was a pullout, but if it was, then it could technically fit 10 people (if two can use a double bed).
