We stayed in oceanview suite with king-sized bed. The room was spacious with gorgeous sweeping views of the ocean. We stayed in early January and it was quite cold but room does not have a heater but does have a fireplace. The first night, we purchased 3 single logs $8 each (the easy lighting ones) from the hotel. The next morning, we went to supermarket and bought bunch of firewood bundles for our remaining two nights. The gym is very sparse with just few pieces of equipment and dumbbell set also limited (didn’t have lighter weights like 5, 10, 15 lbs). The bathroom shower didn’t work very well - I wanted hot water with good water pressure/spray but got more lukewarm water at light spray. The included breakfast was actually very copious and delicious and you can apply credit for another selection, if desired. The staff was courteous, attentive and helpful. In terms of location, you need a car because it’s not located in walkable neighborhood - it is right off highway in front of large Christ Statue which served as nice marker, about 10 minutes north of Puerto Nuevo and 20 minutes south of Rosarito. Plentiful self parking was convenient. Overall, we had a pleasant stay which would have been better had few modern amenities like nice gym, heating, remodeled bathroom been provided.
