Onsen, and the hospitality is amazing. Highly recommend staying here as it is extremely close to Akihabara and Shinjuku. Traveling anywhere else in Tokyo is also convenient. The best part is that Ryogoku is a more quiet location, so you have time to load ip Suica card, or perhaps buying the Shinkansen tickets to other cities

The hotel is next to the station so it was easy to find. They also have a Lawson inside the hotel so it was nice to get snack there during the night. However, I really wish that they change their sheets and blanket with new one because of the stains instead of just washing them.

I thought chain hotels like APA would be very mid. But my experience was amazing! Check in was smooth, the staff are so professional. Very good first impression of Japan due to this hotel. The room is small, but I expected it. The spa was amazing. And there was convenience store on the second floor. I didn’t know until the last day. I wish I could stay a few more days here. Now I am a huge fan of all APA hotels. The facilities of this location was sparkly new too. All excellent things with this hotel!! Highly recommended

Check in was a bit of a hassle due to automation. Queen room access to one side of the bed was difficult. Twin bedroom would be better. All else good, except room temperature difficult to control unless you want it very cool. . Clean quiet and safe. Plenty of clean towels delivered. Public bath nice.

Best place I've stayed! Lots of guests, convenience store within hotel, gym, laundy, amazing spa baths. Very close to Ryogoku station (JR Chuo Sobu line and Toei Oedo line). Many good restaurants next to the station. Have to walk about 15min to e.g. Kuramae station if you want to use Tokyo Metro lines (i.e. if you have a 24/48/72hr subway pass).

Apa Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Eki Tower is just excellent in my opinion. Room is great for single or couple travellers. Adequate size room is comfortable providing all the space and supplies I needed as a solo traveller. The amenities in the building are so well thought of with the convenience of the hotel guests in mind. Lawsons store, hot springs, restaurants, pool, washers and dryers are all available in this hotel. It’s also very close to Ryogoku station, restaurants, Sumo stadium and the museum. I’m looking forward to staying in this hotel again. Highly recommended!👍

A luxurious APA location
I've been staying at APA Hotels for most of my trips to Japan since most of them are fairly priced and offer very convenient locations close to stations. The Ryogoku Eki version definitely has a different vibe compared to the standard APA Hotels that I'm used to staying at. I suppose the "Resort" part isn't there just for show. Hotel: This is probably one of the largest APA Hotels that I've stayed in, with 31 stories in total. The elevators are separated into lower section and higher section. There is even a basement floor which houses the public baths, gym room, laundry room and microwave. On the second floor, there is also a dedicated Lawson within the hotel itself, making it super convenient that you don't even need to step outside the hotel to grab snacks or drinks. There are also multiple restaurants/cafes within the premise. The room itself was still a pretty standard APA business style, but perhaps that was because of my economic single room. Convenience: Like I've mentioned, there is a Lawson on the 2F of the hotel itself. The area around the hotel isn't exactly convenient, since there's not much between the hotel and the station itself, especially with the museum nearby closed for renovation. However, right next to the Ryogoku station's east exit, there are a plethora of small restaurants to satisfy any craving you may have. Service: All the staffs were very friendly and helpful especially when I needed assistance with Yu-pack.
