I am writing to request a refund of my rental of this property. I understand that my expiration time has expired, however I would like to inform you of the horrible state that this property is in, and in my opinion is not up to VRBO standards as I have been a longtime customer.
My guests and I got to the rental property at 8pm the first night and this was the state the house was in.
1. The yard has not been touched by a lawn mower in maybe a year, overgrown weeds, grass, bugs, mice, old Christmas barrels with old Christmas plants that have been dead for who knows how long. VERY Un-inviting.
2. The freezer door on the fridge would not open but maybe 3 inches, it was frozen shut and broken on one side.
3. The return air & heater vents are caked in old dirt, filthy.
4. The bathrooms had built up dirt that has been sliding back and forth on the bottoms of the bathroom doors for sometime.
5. Baseboards were filthy and haven't been cleaned in sometime.
6. The walls have stuff that has dripped down them and never cleaned up.
7. The back porch has NO light fixture AT ALL, with the very overgrown vegetation in the back yard, made it impossible to enjoy the deck out back.
8. The stairs going into the basement have no railing and very steep and narrow, not safe at all. Low ceilings are very uncomfortable for anyone who is over 5'6" tall.
