At checkout I was told I could leave my card key in the room and when I asked about leaving the parking lot I was told that because my car plate was registered at check in, the auto license plate reading camera system would open the gate and I would be able to simply leave. When I got to the exit gate, the gate would not open. I used the call button and spoke with an operator who stated my car was not registered in their system. After giving my room number and explaining that I had registered the car and got into the parking area the day before using their auto read system and I just wanted to leave, I was told to call the front desk and was then given a phone number which I called. I again explained that their system worked to get me in but the front desk said I was not registered even though I had spoken with them just a few minutes earlier. I was asked to wait for assistance and someone would come over. I did ask that they just open the gate for me but I guess they didn’t trust I had already pre paid for my parking. As another car was waiting to get out I backed my car away from the gate out of the way and waited. After a few minutes I again called the front desk and was told that they had corrected their error. I drove up to the gate and it automatically opened. This silly delay took almost 15 minutes. My visit to the front desk to check out wasn’t enough to allow me to freely leave? After spending over $400 for one night I wasn’t happy about being held hostage.

The hotel convinience shuttle every 30 minutes clearly makes it convinient, why the lobby was very nice when I got to my room it is clearly showing its age, while clealiness was good in general the state of the room didn't make it look very good.
