We travelled to Acadia for 4th of July Weekend. We happened to find this location and it worked out wonderfully! The property is off the main road down a long driveway and very secluded and quiet despite being so close to the highway. It’s right on the Jordan river, which is a ocean inlet and fun to watch the tide and even go explore, if you want. There is a nice porch and fire pit, although we didn’t use it due to exhaustion from hiking. It takes about 25-30 minutes to get anywhere in Acadia, but it’s a very nice drive. The house itself is the lower level of the owners log cabin with separate entrance. We could barely tell she was there. There was a nice couch, TV, WiFi dining table and fully loaded kitchen with spices and everything. She left us a nice snack tray and water cooler for water bottles. The bathroom and bedroom were as described with plenty of towels and blankets. Worked perfectly for our family of six, but would be great for couples, other sized families or friends traveling together. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for the great accommodations!
