This cabin was perfect for our family ski trip! It felt like home right away. Very comfortable, space to spread out, and the perfect location close to town and the slopes. We loved watching our kids sled from the hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely book this home again.
Was a nice relaxing cabin house and we really enjoyed the hot tub as the weather was a bit rainy.
Definitely would enjoy coming back during the winter!
Very nice deck overlooking forested grounds. Secluded, neighbors barely visible. All areas clean and pretty well managed. Upstairs was very hot during day and early evening but once evening coolness set in it was fine. (we stayed in July). There is an air conditioner on that level but we didn't want to waste it as we were mostly gone during the day. Only possible drawback was location right off a road with not much traffic, but some very fast cars and trucks. We had to back out onto a dangerous road from the driveway. Owners provided a Keurig but no coffee pods -so be prepared to BYO. Overall very satisfactory stay.
This was such a nice little cabin with a great location to downtown truckee and multiple lakes to hang out around. We also went dirt biking and was able to ride directly from the home to the trails (respectfully and abiding all traffic laws) neighbors were friendly and kind. I would recommend some sort of gate To block the stairs and street access from the balcony for children and dogs. Was a bit nerve wracking if we wanted to sit outside in the evening and had to constantly watch around the corner of the balcony. Other than that,it had all the basic necessities. I would stay again if in the area. The k you very much.
Nice place but needs a little attention. Top deck had broken board. Very unsafe. Refrigerator door wouldn't close properly. Left door has broken spring. I put it back in place. Dishwasher had broken top runner. We madeitwork. But don't sweat the small stuff. Was still a nice stay.
Upon arrival home with filthy. Examples include visible dirt/debris on the floors, mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinet, and a twig in between the sheets.
The home has many dangerous and/or non code compliant modifications, including: an electrical subpanel behind the dishes in the kitchen cabinet, flexible HVAC ducts running through the closets, dangerously steep stairs, unprotected electrical wires, and a broken electrical plug faceplate.
Finally, many items in the home are in disrepair. Examples include a broken foosball table, many broken window locks, broken top dishwasher rack, and broken activity closet doors. Additionally, at the carpet transition to the bathroom downstairs the carpet is heavily damaged with the tackboard exposed.
Great location and very nice inside with everything you could need for a great stay. Was especially nice with the space for the dogs and quite location for a great get away.
Only recommendation for the property would be to update all locks on windows as multiple where broken.
