The location of the house is excellent, in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Oracle Road. It was nice that we could use the large garage and the backyard with the pool is great to relax and enjoy the Tucson sunshine.
However, the house itself has a few shortcomings. The interior is quite dated, with original doors and cabinets which show their age. For the size of the house, the kitchen is not properly equipped. The ice maker did not work and while a repairman was sent out to fix it, it only worked for one day and then stopped working again.
Water glasses and some of the plates were plastic and the rest of the China was of poor quality and insufficient quantities for such a large house.
One of the chairs in the dining room was broken and the others were not in the best shape so that we had to use the patio chairs instead.
One of the couches in the living room had no support. We practically sat on the floor when we tried to sit on it.
Our stay was in December, and we had to turn on the heater in the evening. It was difficult to get an even temperature throughout the house. Some areas were too hot, while others barely warmed up.
It was our impression that this location is better suited for summer pool parties rather than a winter stay.
