Great property, poor communication
The property is great. It’s spacious, very clean, modern, well appointed, comfortable beds, great views and in a nice neighborhood with access to services. I’m giving a 3 star rating due to communication. Be aware this is a Vacasa managed property. So if you have questions or issues you text or call a 1-800 #. Problem is all the person can do is send a report and then you wait for a resolution. Our issues went into a black hole. The big one was a broken automatic shade that covered the sliding glass door in the master bedroom. We found it in the walk-in closet when we arrived. My husband tried to re-attach it but a piece was broken so not fixable. This made it impossible to sleep in the master bedroom. Not just from a privacy standpoint but because timed lights in the backyard/pool area were on all night lighting up the bedroom. We reported the problem the very day we arrived but nothing was resolved during our stay. The other issue was a broken ice maker that was leaking on the floor. We reported this too but never heard anything back. Other items such as fire place remotes not working and more clear communication on their signage. For example, ”use the iPad on the kitchen counter to access the hot tub website to turn it on.” The sign just said to keep the iPad on the counter top and plugged in. You do need a lap top or iPad to access the website to turn on the hot tub. Using an iPhone or android is very awkward because the small screen doesn’t display correctly.
