We rented this property for a girls trip - 5 women over 60 who have been friends for over 50 years. The condo was large and very well appointed. It seemed to have been recently renovated, and the finishes were excellent. We had never been to Tybee Island before, so we chose a location somewhat blindly. However, we could not have chosen better. The condo is centrally located on the island, and it is right on the ocean. It is easy to get to shops and restaurants, but not in the middle of of hustle and bustle. There is a very good beach front bar and restaurant one block away that we visited on several occasions. The beach was very nice and not at all crowded.
The only thing that I will point out that some may have a problem with is that the elevator from the parking area opens directly into the unit. That may be mentioned in the listing, but, if it is, I didn't notice it. It was a unique situation for me. It opened into the living area at the front of the condo (basically where the picture of the living area is taken from). The elevator fobs prevent accessing other units. There was some noise from other units that could be heard through the elevator, but it did not interfere with anyone's ability to sleep while we were there. It would not stop me from renting this property again.
