The Sunrise Villa is just what we wanted for our 10 day stay. Great location and quiet. Spacious room with a stunning outlook to the Champhuan ridge. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was a lush oasis. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

U might need to wear mask while sleeping :)
The room is dusty and never been vacuumed, I developed annoying cough every time time I stay inside. The bedsheet, and pillows smells, we need to spray alcohol to mask it. Everyday we get bug bites as natural tattoo. Lastly, taking shower was a pain because their shower head is pointing horizontally, so I need to tie it to point diagonally downward or ask someone to bathe you LOL.. We were planning to stay another week in panoramic room, but going through this is too much to bear. But to be fair, their breakfast is good. Not so fancy but ok. The office staff is friendly and approachable.

A beautiful room and pool over looking the jungle, so relaxing. Staff were wonderful, delivering a delicious breakfast to the room each morning. There was bottled water available in the room. They organised a taxi to pick me up at the airport for about $40AUD. Nice quiet area with some good restaurants, about 20 min walk into the centre of ubud.

Good points Sunrise arranged airport transfer. Reception staff were friendly. Good view. Not far from ubud (uphill). Bad points Checkin office closed upon arrival & taximan had to contact the host to ask about room info (wiFi password/facilities). When we wanted to shower, we had no hot water as the gas cannister that fed the boiler was empty. We had no contact details for the host so had to call the taximan for help. Room was very loud, we heard EVERYTHING from other guests. Also the air-con units were located next to our room, so if other guests had their air-con on, it was loud. outdoor bathroom often had bugs/cockroaches and smelled of drains. On arrival our towels smelled damp (and were not changed during our 6 night stay) & the soap dispenser & toilet paper ran out & were not replenished. Our room had a kitchen, including a stove & cutlery. There was no pan/kettle to put on the stove so this was redundant. There were bugs in the water dispenser. A daily breakfast was delivered to the room, which was nice. The actual timings of delivery Vs requested time vary by 60-30 mins & food might be cold. Wifi only worked on the patio. There weren't always staff around, but lots of random people knew where we were. Example: the airport taximan suggested an excursion. We paid the guide the agreed price but after dropping us off he came to our villa room to ask for more money which was intimidating & we weren't sure how he knew which room we were in. It felt unsafe

This is a lovely place to stay. I had a panoramic room and the view was lovely. Large room, large balcony, lovely relaxing pool and so quiet even though it wasn't far off the main road. I would definitely recommend for a stay in Ubud

For a 3 star and the amount you get for your money - excellent! Would definitely stay again. Lovely breakfast and very nice staff. There were a few little bits that could do with improving, the bed sheets smelt a bit damp and the bathroom tap sprays out at a funny angle getting you wet if you’re not careful. It’s also very steep stairs to get down to the bottom room, not a problem for us but if you were less mobile this would be a problem. Regardless, it’s got a beautiful pool and view overlooking a jungle valley, would recommend

Had to cancel our accommodation on arrival due the huge amount of steep stairs to our room. The room was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful and understood the medical issue (knee replacement) with the steep steps to the accommodation . Cannot fault the staff but recommend good knees and fitness to stay here.

This property is in the most beautiful location. The surroundings make you feel like you're in paradise. The rooms are spacious and they have great decor. The pool is amazing and I wanted to swim in it every day! The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were so kind. I did not want to leave this property! I look forward to staying here again.

The location is excellent the reception staff was a little disorganized but other than that everything was excellent. Breakfast was served on time & delicious. The pool & the view was breathtaking & the room was spacious clean & had everything you need. The bathroom was beautiful & water pressure was great. We had a patio where breakfast was served. It is very private & we felt safe.

I stayed with Sunrise Villas for 10 nights. After a bit of a restless night with some noisy neighbours, the owner Made came to see me and moved me to an even more beautiful and peaceful bungalow! He and Adi and all the staff were lovely and friendly, The little infinity pool was quiet and private, and overall it really was a fantastic stay. Very friendly staff. The place is beautiful and the breakfast was great. I just wished they cleaned the room a little bit better. There was mold on the bathtub (made out of rocks) and hair on the sheets.
