Good little property. Clean and neat and the staff were very polite and helpful. Beds were comfortable, room was a good size - we were in a double Queen and there was lots of room to move around. The location next to Columbia skytrain station was a bit of a mixed bag. It's very easy to get downtown. It takes about 40 minutes to get to waterfront Station. On the other hand, the SkyTrain runs behind the hotel. They've invested in good windows, though, so although you can hear it it's not overwhelming. There's lots of parking but it is across the street. I recommend parking right next to the stairs for the Columbia Street exit, as that makes it a better one minute walk to your car. This would be a really excellent location for an out of town group coming in for something like a bachelorette party. If you book early enough there's an area in the second floor where there's a shared seating area in the middle of all the rooms. Microwave, water cooler, snacks and drinks available for sale. Just a good gathering area if you had a large group at the hotel. Not a party area, but good for pre party waiting for that one person who takes a while to get ready. This will be my go-to for trips into the LM in future.

I had a great stay at this hotel, especially considering the price. While the property is older, it’s very well-maintained and impeccably clean. The location is also a major plus—conveniently close to the train, making it easy to get around. For the value, this hotel is an excellent choice, and I’d definitely recommend it to budget-conscious travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
