This lovely chalet has been meticulously restored from its former pastoral dilapidation. It oozes character and charm with an abundance of wood and grey mountain stone. Set off the quiet road leading through La Villette, Chalet Rostaing makes a good option for larger groups.
Chalet Rostaing has a spacious dining room with the original vaulted ceiling, stone walls and a roaring log-fire. There is a separate lounge with another open fire. Rostaing benefits from 6 bedrooms all with individual features and a total of 5 bathrooms (4 -en-suite).
The main entrance to Rostaing is from the quiet road which serves only the hamlet itself. There is also an entrance into the dining room near to the heated ski/boot room. If you just want to sit and relax during the day there is a terrace and a garden to soak up some Alpine sunshine.
You have your own parking area alongside and a store-room suitable for bicycles and other equipment.
Guests can ski back to the hamlet or ride the gondola.
Cycling in the Alps: Vaujany benefits from a state of the art escalator which connects the top with the bottom of the village. The 160 place Cable Car systems takes you from the village at 1100 metres to 2700 metres …The next stop up is 3300 metres at the Pic Blanc looking out on to the Mont Blanc, the Grand Paradis, the Meije and the Ecrin National Park.
