Very big suite with all of the comforts of home. Great view. Saw the northern lights on our visit. Also the laundry service was excellent.

The hotel was beautiful, the only reason I am not rating it as excellent is because our room was extremely hot. I would guess above 80 degrees, we had to turn the heat off completely and sleep with the patio door and all of the windows open in attempt to cool it down.

From what I can tell, this is the best place to stay near Vik. Beautiful view, well-appointed, quiet. We had everything we needed and were super comfortable in our family room. The breakfast scene in the barn was disappointing (bad coffee and pastries), but if you get food from the market in Vik you have everything you need in the room to prepare your own meals. Highly recommend and I will def book there again when we go to gorgeous Iceland again!

I really like Black Beache Suites… The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because although the suite is clean, it does not have an odor, for me it is important to arrive and smell a pleasant aroma, I hope you take this into consideration:

Black Beach Suites was a beaut! It was the perfect location for a stay in Vik. Just a couple minutes from the center. We saw the Northern Lights from outside the suite and drove up the hill for a better view. FYI: The room got extremely hot at night so consider turning down the temperature before bed. Breakfast was not complementary. BBS would be best if you are staying several days and plan to make use of the kitchenette of course. You've got to try Black Crust Pizza! Some of the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of pizza.

Dont hesitate to book this place!

Spotlessly clean and stylish cabin with an awesome view. It was just perfect. Had everything you needed. Even free access to netflix on the huge smart tv. It had a lovely walk in shower with heated floor too...so divine and I wish I could have stayed there longer! There is parking allocated directly outside the suites and up at the Barn you can grab a bite to eat (they sell chicken tenders, pizza etc). It's a limited menu but done well.

This is a beautiful property. Doesn't look like much from the outside/pictures but the room was great. We had a suite so it had a small kitchen area, table and chairs, sofa/sofa bed. Big beautiful space with gorgeous views. Short drive to black sand beach. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended

Excellent location next to the Black Sand Beaches. Quiet area and we caught auroras 2 nights in a row. Convenient 7 min drive to Vik town. Room is huge with comprehensive amenities and is well designed, cosy, clean and well maintained.
