We wished we never booked with this hotel whilst we was in Wadi Rum and would not recommend it.
If we looked on tripadvisor beforehand and saw the reviews, it was the same experience we received and never would have gone ahead with the booking.
The check in was an absolute mess. We got confirmation from Expedia and homeaway that the meeting point was at the wadi rum visitor centre. This isn’t the case and for future travellers it’s at a petrol station. We contacted the hotel who sent us back and forth to different locations to which no one turned up. It took over 2 hours from us arriving to getting to the hotel.
Once we checked in, we turned up at our bubble and the jacuzzi wasn’t working and no hammock in place. We spoke to the reception and they did not care, was very rude and said everyone has these issues.
Due to the fact, we had issues checking in and the time delay, this also caused us not to do a jeep tour in the desert.
The place this hotel is in is amazing but the service and care whilst here is below sub standard and will ruin the experience here.
After leaving here and telling Expedia these issues, the hotel has come back and told lies that we had none of these issues and they received no complaints from any guests during their stay. We had photos showing all the defects and speaking to some of the guests that night over dinner, most of them were not happy about their stay.
If you experience anything poor during your stay, Don’t expect any resolution.
