The property was great ! It was comfy and cozy. The only downside for us was no washer and dryer on the property, which wpuld've been nice. But my fault for not paying attention.
The place is great. No one else was around and it is very cute. I am 5â2â and read another review so knew to bring a little stool for the bed. The shower head does not adjust though. The fix is just to lather up after turning it off for a bit. Other than that it is fabulous and book with confidence!
The cabin is in a very beautiful location and the beds were comfortable. The shower is small, but doable. The living room and TV could be laid out differently and it would function better. My recommendation are to change the shower head to tilt down more and replace the shades with something more modern that blocks light. But overall it's nice!
The cabin was clean, the blow dryer blew cold air, the bed was too far off of the floor, I'm 5'2".The Tv was impossible to figure out. Why even have a TV if it is an apple TV that seniors can't figure out. The water was well water, it was filtered is what they said, but it stunk to high heaven. The towels stunt. They water sprinklers came on at night and the water left stains on our car and windshield Washing the windows did not take it off. Not satisficed at all.
"No AC", in description of property it says to open the windows and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. In the property info folder on the table, it says to make sure to close the windows when you leave to keep the Bears out. I won't stay without AC any place I go from now on. Secondly, I don't care if this place is in the country. It needs black out shades to keep peepers from looking in and the security light from illuminating the bedroom. Other than that, nice little place!
Great place to rest and relax after a week in the wilderness. I would definitely stay here again. The host was prompt and courteous with communication.
All things supplied that we needed. Comfy beds and peaceful surroundings. Pleasant owners. Met them since this is an apartment attached to their residence. It wasnât an issue for us, but you may want to be aware that the shower is TINY. It is about a 25 minute drive in to Cody, but we found it a lovely place to stay to attend the Cody Stampede Rodeo, 4th of July parade, Buffalo Bill museum as well as venturing into Yellowstone through the East entrance.
We thoroughly loved everything about our stay here. The location is quiet, we were able to open the windows for a cool breeze and felt so relaxed. We looked forward to our next stay!
We stayed three nights and enjoyed our visit. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was a bit cramped, and the shower was small and hard to move around in, but we made it work. I noticed others commented on the sheer blinds. We were concerned at first as well. However, when outside looking in you can't see through them. Would stay here again!
I loved staying at this little cabin-type spot. Just steps from the Shoshone River. Very compact, with tiny bathroom and shower, sofa and breakfast table and kitchenette all in one area. Separate bedroom, with a huge bed that was very comfortable. About a half hour from east Yellowstone entrance. I would 100% stay there again. Check-in was easy with code. Abby from Cody Lodging was so friendly and was at a number easily accessed. I would definitely look at other properties with this group.
Very clean. Awesome log cabin and just right size for a couple. Beautiful drives to Yellowstone and Cody were very convenient. If we could change anything, wish bathroom was larger.
The property was amazing. It is a good base location to travel to other points of interest. It was so....so quite! and the scenery was indescribable. I'm not sure it would be suitable for a family with kids that like to play outside or want to cookout, but we were on the move a lot. For a couple, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place. Also, I highly recommend the Bill Cody Ranch a few miles away for breakfast , dinner and horseback riding.
Very comfortable, quiet place to stay. The sound of the river along with wildlife in the yard make it a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. Itâs a 30 minute drive thought the Shoshone Forest to the east gate of Yellowstone. Only complaints would be the tiny bathroom, lack of wifi, and lack of a grill or stove to cook a meal on (bit of a drive to find a restaurant). However, the quiet beauty surrounding the location of this place more than makes up for its shortcomings. Book it and enjoy getting away from it all!
Thank you for hosting us again! We had a wonderful Wapiti getaway and we love the property, river, and amazing hospitality. This was the perfect place to relax, rest, and focus on Godâs beautiful landscape and country. We appreciate you opening your home to us and your kind hearts. May God continue to bless you in all that you do and your beautiful family.
As a VRBO host myself, I cannot say enough about how amazing this property was! Advertising was spot on, wonderfully decorated with added special touches, every amenity supplied, and if I could pack the king bed in my suitcase, I would have....maybe the most comfortable bed ever! But the beauty around the property overwhelmed me. It was so quiet and relaxing; I was sad that we had booked only 2 nights. 20 minutes from Cody and 30 from Yellowstone...it was our our gateway. Thank you so much!!
