Situated facing the mountain for a beautiful view. Minute drive to Mt Lincoln parking lot and 15 minutes away from Mt Ellen. Mt Ellen is still my favorite but Mt Lincoln has more social vibe.
I received multiple text messages from different phone numbers and an email about check-in and was asked for ridiculous personal identification information to receive the access code to the property. After an hour on the phone and texting three different people I was able to confirm that the identity requests were not spam. The strange part was the request asked me for a selfie and a photo of my license, which Iâve never heard of, so didnât trust it initially. Once I finally received the access information I arrived at the rental to find that a primary and secondary lock box did not have the key to the property, and there was not an electronic lock on the unit itself, so I was forced to communicate with two more people via phone and text for spare keys to be located and delivered. I was told the housekeeper accidentally left the property with the key. I ultimately was not able to access the unit until three hours after scheduled check-in and when I finally did, found the original key on a hook inside. This experience was anything but smooth and I do not anticipate booking again through this service.
This condo met my needs and was very convenient to Sugarbush. The condo had everything that I needed and was comfortable. The access to Sugarbush was very convenient with a trail to the base and easy access back to the condo via the out to lunch trail.
After a 6 hour drive, we arrived to the house and followed the check-in instructions. However they only provided half of the information. We got a key to the unit, but no way into the actual building. We did not receive the building code until 5 hours later. The unit is extremely dated, but serviceable. That being said, the bed is awful. It is clearly very old and sunken in. The mattress really needs to be replaced. Your back will agree. The bedroom TV also doesnât work. Location is excellent. Parking is easy and access to the mountain is just steps away.
We had a great ski vacation at Sugarbush and were pleased with this property. Photos are an accurate description of the unit and the beds were very comfortable. The property is 'ski-in/ski-out but beginner skiers may have trouble navigating the "Out to Lunch" trail, especially if conditions are less than perfect, in which case it's more of a 'long walk in/long walk out' unit. The central Vacasa call center was useless but once the 'local team' was engaged they were fantastic. Abby in particular was super responsive and helpful in getting us extra towels and other supplies when needed. Two areas where the unit can really stand to be improved:1. There is barely any place to store your stuff, particularly if you have more than two people and are staying for more than a weekend. Another 2-3 sets of drawers are needed -- at minimum the owner should stock every closet with sufficient hangers. 2. Hot water seems to be a problem for the whole building. Usually I had to wait 4-5 hours apres ski to shower in order to get hot water.
The location is hard to beat at Sugarbush! Super easy access to the Out To Lunch Trail. Condo is a bit dated but clean and has what you need. Communication with Vacasa was great!
Great location and definitely ski in/ski out with just a walk to end of the road to get to "Out to Lunch" trail. Place was clean. Vacasa Management is definitely lacking though as it took two days to provide a set of sheets for the pull out couch and a new light bulb for over the dinning table. Got numerous "canned" responses likely from someone far away. They did eventually compensate me for the 2 nights of discomfort without sheets so that was good. Place is very outdated and a little disorganized in the kitchen but as mentioned overall was clean and comfortable and worth it for the location.
Well equipped condo, a short walk to the lifts. Easy parking and entrance, close to bars and restaurants at the base area and Sugarbush Village. Great sunrise view from the balcony, and plenty of room to relax after a day on the mountain.
the negatives - it is not Ski In/out. you must walk about 5 minutes to the nearest ski lift. not convenient and should not be advertised as ski in/ski out. Fireplace as shown on the pictures is not functioning. you should make it clear that there is NO fireplace in this condo. Photos led to believe that this condo features a fireplace. Mattress needs to be replaced - it's caved in. Wi-Fi is extremely slow. The positives - very clean and cozy, plenty of towels, good shower, good shampoo/conditioner, good TV. Relatively close to the ski lodge. Parking is convinient.
