Housekeeping lacks customer service
This hotel is in a great location but is definately not 5* .
We stayed for 3 nights and our room was not cleaned once during that time. The first day we thought we had missed the cleaners round as we put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door while we went for breakfast and only put ‘please clean room’ when we went out at about 11am. We advised reception that evening who apologised and arranged for clean towels to be delivered to our room.
The next day we put ‘please clean room’ up at 9am when we went for breakfast. When we returned at 11.30 it hadn’t been cleaned, and after going out for the day we returned at 6pm and still no one had been. We advised reception again who apologised and brought us some more coffee and water.
One of the treats of staying in a hotel is having your bed made nicely, fresh towels and a nice clean room when you return from a day sightseeing.
Also on check in we were advised that our reservation only included breakfast for one person despite us paying for a room for 2. The breakfast was very nice but at 20 euros per day it added quite a bit to what we thought was a reasonably priced hotel.
This was our second visit to this hotel which is conveniently located for us as we have family who live nearby but we are not likely to return.
