Staff were nice and welcoming. The property inside and outside were clean. I didn't like the several mice and rats I saw outide the property as I left out at 4 am to catch my flight.

Both of our comforters had many rips and tears. The A/C was being repaired on the 2nd floor where you check in and the restaurant was located so they had many portable AC units placed everywhere. Not what we are used to for Mariott properties

If checking in with a car, there is not good place to pull in with the car. The valet service ended up being excellent, though. Smoke-free facility, but the floor we were on smelled like pot night and morning.

They turned the water off! Over $200 a night I should at minimum have water and electric. I arrived to my room in the evening to a note stating “sorry for the inconvenience, the water will be shut off from 8am-12pm tomorrow. I was up late and I didnt plan to get up early. The next I realized not only can I not take a shower before checking out, I can’t brush my teeth. Then I realized, i can’t flush the toilet! You think they would have made an effort to put the water back on for at least an hour before check out. I’m certain they didn’t tell me this while checking in because everyone would have found another hotel. There was nothing offered for the inconvenience. Just that I could purchase an $8 bottle of water to brush my teeth. I asked if a credit will be given for this. The guest service attendant generously gave me 5000 points toward another stay in a hotel I don’t ever want to return to. I checked the Bonvoy account that I had to sign up for. The rooms start at 38,000 points. I’m so disappointed and strongly do not recommend this hotel.

The staff was hands down the best part of this stay. The gentleman at the bistro was friendly, polite and just a joy to talk to. The check in clerk was so patient and very knowledgeable about the area. The valet guys always had a warm smile and sugar cookie ready to greet us.

A no for me
The only good thing was proximity to the metro. This is also potentially a downfall because if the noise, but they warn you and offer earplugs upon check in. The air conditioning in the hallways and lobby were hot because the ac was not working. The sink didn’t drain properly. One of the elevators was not in service on our first night. The overall condition of the property needed renovation because it looks run down.

Great place except the elevators
It was a great stay. The only real problem was that of the three elevators available, only one was working for the majority of the stay.
