I stayed here while I was moving in my daughter to Coach University of America. This hotel is conveniently located by the Amtrak and near all historical sites. The staff was incredible and everything was neat and spectacular. I highly recommend the restaurant as well.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Being connected to The Dubliner was the best part. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was better than most hotels. The cons first and foremost the size of the bathroom. When booking the room the pictures of the bathroom were much larger than the one in our room. We booked this hotel to stay at for our wedding due to its appeal of being luxurious and the rooms including robes. There was only 1 bathroom and its was very stiff and not something you would be comfortable wearing in addition to it being a M/L seemed more towards the medium size. If you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. Based on its location expect a lot of sirens and honking horns from the outside as well as at 9:30am the noise of housekeeping vacuuming rooms next to yours. Overall it was a nice hotel coffee machines were amazing and used a lot and would recommend to others.

Stayed here with my daughter for a spur of the moment overnight trip to DC. The staff were all so friendly and the rooms are quiet, comfortable, and clean. I picked Phoenix Park because of how close it was located to the train and metro station, it was so convenient. I would definitely stay here again the next time we make it to DC.

Loved the coffee and hot chocolate machine! Late restaurant hours were helpful our first night. Elevators were always fast. Most of the staff were kind and helpful. That beings said, there were a lot of not great things. We had issues with key cards and our room door lock. The foldout sofa bed went up against the main bed, making walking through the room impossible when it was open. The toilet paper roll was in a ridiculous place, and the bathroom was very small. No shampoo or conditioner, only body wash. Food in the restaurant was only so-so...terrible fish & chips. Always only 1 person at the front desk, so we would often have to wait to talk to them when we har an issue. Not a ton of restaurants nearby, and a lot of homeless near Union Station. Can hear all the street noise from the room, and no blackout curtains.

Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location for a city break with all major points of interest nearby. Hotel located right beside Union Street Station so perfect for access in and out of city.

A Terrific Stay
The hotel is so well situated just near Union Station. Check-in was seamless, with Brenda being most attentive, courteous and welcoming. She also made us aware of the local (Circulator) bus route nearby that serviced all the museums and memorials and other attractions in DC. The complimentary 2nd floor coffee lounge was a big hit as was the Coffee Corner Bakery 50m down the street. The cleanliness and the daily room service was fabulous.

Your friend in Capitol Hill.
First of all good hotel and near the Capitol. If you are going on train or going to Congress, it's perfect locale. White House is not far by uber. But the hotel service is excellent. Sometimes I feel like hotels could care less about me, this one took care of me. I said I had to check in late, they listened and accomodated.

Wow!
The folks at the Phoenix Park Hotel went above and beyond to make our honeymoon amazing. They were kind enough to upgrade our room to something a little more luxurious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even when we had a problem in the room, they immediately send someone up to fix it. Amazing. Just amazing and we'll definitely be staying here again when we visit DC.

Beautiful Historic Hotel
Love the history and character this hotel has—fits in perfectly with the theme of DC. Plus it’s super convenient to Union Station, where the Amtrak stops. Definitely would stay again.
