A Perfect Getaway!
We wanted to have a weekend away (we're from Philly) for our anniversary. We have visited Wellsboro before and decided to go back again. We found this Cozy Sands Road place and thought it would be perfect to be our in the country AND close to Wellsboro. We were SO happy with this rental. First, it was SO clean! I am pretty sure I have never stayed in such a clean property. They took time for all the welcoming amenities. Tom and Aine were so warm and welcoming. And they had lots of ideas of places for us to hike. We will be back again next year!

Wonderful Place
Our stay here really made us feel at home and so at peace. This place and property was so clean and well taken care of. The hosts Tom and Aine were gracious hosts and very helpful with the surrounding areas and willing to help come get you if you get lost. They were always a phone call away.

An amazing place to stay
This was the most quaint and cozy beautiful "little" apartment we could have ever found. The location is gorgeous. It was so clean and had everything you could ever need and more. The hosts were so friendly, gracious and knowledgeable about the area and made our trip extra special. This is the perfect weekend getaway spot or a week in the country. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Spent long weekend at Tom and Aine’s place. It’s a beautiful property. Perfect for two people, clean and well appointed. Went into Wellsboro for dinners. Drove up to Watkins Glen (1 1/4 hr) and hiked the glen, worth the ride.

This property is about 25 minutes from Wellsboro but the drive is beautiful. We were able to get to the Rail Trail near Darling Run pretty easily from here. The accomodations are perfect and lots of homey touches! Hosts were hospitible and friendly!

Easy to feel at home here
I lucked upon this apartment for a work-related stay but feel so comfortable and at home here, I'll return just for leisure time when I need a personal retreat. The area offers many opportunities for exploring, and can't wait to do more of that. The property location is just the right amount off the beaten path. The views outside are picturesque and serene, and the inside is pristine and so well-crafted. The hosts, Tom and Aine, have a special knack for creating this quaint, comfortable, and restful space -- a craftsman-meets-rustic vibe -- with lots of lovely little details. They are lovely people, and so are the pooches and cats.

Perfect little apartment near PA Grand Canyon
This is a wonderful place to stay, with easy access to Wellsboro, PA, the Grand Canyon, and interesting back roads of northern PA. Tom and Aine are welcoming and helpful. The apartment has everything that one needs and there is also a little deck for outdoor lounging and a fire pit. After busy days, it was like coming home to return to the apartment in the evenings.

Wellsboro trip
My husband and I usually stay in Wellsboro , but saw the VRBO add and couldn’t resist. The place was about 8 miles off the main road, we got there about 20 minutes before check in. We pulled in the long drive and Aine Byrne was coming out to greet us. I can’t say enough about our visit for our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect . The apartment was top notch. Clean and so beautifully decorated. The mattress was comfortable and the apartment was well stocked with snacks, coffee and water. Aine and Tom were so hospitable and we enjoyed talking with them. They have 3 loving Dogs that you will fall in love with. We did the trail through the woods across the road and the pipeline access road. We will definitely be back for another visit.
