Fun off the dock
The house was open and spacious. Our host was very responsive in our needs and concerns. We loved the dock and I think I may have lost 2 pounds simply doing the steps daily back-and-forth from the house to the dock. Our children ranged in age from 4 to 9 and they had great fun fishing, kayaking, paddle boating, jumping off and being silly. The neighborhood is quiet and contained and great for walks in the evening. The resident neighbors around us were very welcoming. We only had two little problems that is expected if you’re in the woods. Some problems with hornets, and some resident mice. Our host was very quick to respond to these problems , all in all we will be back again. The house is open

Lovely vacation!
Hello, This was an excellent vacation space. The views of the lake are amazing. The lake is gorgeous and warm to swim in. The renters supplied kayaks and we paddled around a lot. The kitchen is more than adequate for a vacation rental and we additionally enjoyed grilling. It was an awesome place to stay. It is also a short drive into town if you want a night out or great coffee!

Great house!
Beautiful views, great location! This lake house was very clean, well-equipped and plenty big enough for our extended family gathering of 8 adults and 6 kiddos. And it has plenty of TVs, good wifi and games in the house, including a vintage PacMan, if the outdoor weather isn't good for outdoor activities. We were lucky to have hot Tennessee July weather for our stay, and the grandkids had a great time jumping off the floating dock into the lake. (Always wearing life jackets, the water is deep!) Before we arrived we appreciated getting a quick response from the manager about on-site life jackets for kids, so we were sure to have enough of the right sizes. It was a fun family vacation we'll remember for a long time!

Great Place, Great View, GREAT Time!
Communication w/mgnt company reps was top notch! Accomodations was great! Tims Ford Lake water is so clean compared to where we are from (Tenn. River area). We especially liked the home theater in evenings...picture and sound was awesome! Foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard games were in great shape and fun. The view was awesome! Just a heads up...there are a lot of steps down to dock etc.so if anyone has "mobility" issues that might be a problem.It appears most homes in that area, have lots of steps.Great exercise! :o) Kayaks were fun but are in a precarious holding place tho. We had a great time overall. Would love to visit again!

Really good stay.
We enjoyed our stay at this home. The owners communicated well and helped us with anything we needed. We really enjoyed the views, the hot tub, the projector. A few suggestions for improvements: There was a little bit of a smell downstairs when we arrived. Some of the games in the garage are broken, as well as the handle of the Pac-man machine. Cleaning out the paddle boat. A little book of recommendations for restaurants would be good. The hall bath near the front door was having a hard time flushing. Overall a nice place that we enjoyed.

Awesome location, amazing views, and incredible hosts
We had a great time at the property. There were 9 of us and we had more than enough room. The property was incredibly clean, well thought amenities available, and the views off the back deck or sitting with coffee looking out the window in the morning was super calming. Derrick and Justin were very attentive to anything we needed. We’re already planning another trip with our friends for the summer. Definitely recommend staying, you won’t be disappointed.

Annual couples trip!
We enjoyed our stay here! The view from the balcony is great. The house was so well stocked, and kitchen/dining/living area spacious for families or groups. The lower level kitchen was very convenient for making lunches to take down to the dock, and for keeping a fridge stocked for days spent on the dock or out on the lake. Owners graciously answered any questions and offered availability at any time if needed. Enjoy!

Amazing Property for Large Group!
This home was perfect for our two family group with 7 teens! The home was like two homes in one which suited us perfectly! Loved sitting on the porch for coffee every morning and the kids loved the lake on our last day! The property manager was wonderful and was there if we needed him for anything! We were also super impressed with never running out of hot water when having 13 people showering! I would highly recommend this property if looking to stay in the area!

Picture Perfect Oasis
The lake house was a true oasis! The paddle boat, hot tub, and rainfall shower were a few of our favorite things. And what about those views?? Picture perfect as we lounged by the fire pit and talked in the evening hours. If we could, we'd give it 11 out of 10!!!

Oak Barrel Half Oasis
This was the perfect place for our large group who came in to participate in the Oak Barrel half marathon in Lynchburg. The rooms and accommodations were as photographed. The kitchen was great for our large family style meals that spilled into watching March Madness on the large tv. The hot tub was perfect for our weary runners and the floating dock was so calm and relaxing. The host was very responsive and friendly and even helped us relax as we were receiving tornado watch/warnings. Check in and check out was super easy. Highly recommend this host and this home.

60th surprise birthday party
The size of the house was great. We slept 8 with room to spare. The view is breath taking, but hike to the boat dock not for the faint of heart. We used the fire pit and it was nice to sit around. I'd go back again for another occasion.

Perfect. Everything you could want!
After searching many different properties I was so excited to find this one! It has everything… the house is clean and large enough for bigger groups with a great vibe. The deck is perfect for morning coffee or an evening nightcap with a gorgeous view of the water and sunset. There are two grills if you love to cook with a view, as well as a hot tub that looks out on the water. The fire pit also gives a perfect view of the water while being close to the house, and the dock is just as advertised with room for plenty of people to hangout and enjoy the lake. The garage is also a great place to hang at night with a few different games to play. Lastly, Derrick was incredible helpful and kind during the check-in/check-out process… 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
