Unfortunate stay
The property is poorly maintained (holes in doors, broken furniture, doors would not close properly, some of the lights sparked in the bedrooms when turned on, areas were filthy, etc) and the walls are paper thin (could here the young men next door at all hours of the day and night). Property was advertised as having noise restrictions but, clearly, no one enforces them as we were awoken several times on both evenings due to loudness next door. We were all extremely disappointed particularly given price point for property.

Tahoe vacation
The house was great in size perfect for myself and my family. Just a few things I wished they would of been different like in the kitchen when we got there the microwave stove and dishwasher and fridge where very dirty with hand marks water marks and oil so it made the whole kitchen feel nasty dirty the kitchen also didn't have kitchen towels . The cleaning crew didn't a bad job as for cleaning I had to clean it up but did take pictures. B other than that it was great I totally would rent it again I just hope cleaners do better

Nice but lacking
Pros: convenient trailhead, nice updated downstairs bathroom, deck area w seating, updated kitchen, clean fridge, beds comfortable, easy access to front door, clubhouse accessible (and used), quiet location, easy parking, nice selection of DVD's and games, fireplace Cons: Majority of dishes were dirty, kitchen drawers and cabinets unorganized, couches & sitting of main floor were filthy (crumbs, worn down and stained), only 1 blanket/throw (which had a hole in it), kitchen towels smelled of mildew, bathroom/shower towels did not look or feel clean (also had holes in some), shower curtains in hallway bathroom were stained and moldy, 4 flights of stairs should be advertised to get between bedrooms and main floor, very creaky roof, binder needs to be updated (with check in and check out procedures) and also placed where seen, not in a drawer, TV was non-functional until finding an HDMI cable in another room, spiders, fireplace nice but ticking sound made it difficult to keep on.

Hygienically and Aesthetically DISAPPOINTING
The location was nice, however everything inside the cabin was a disappointment. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the cabin was not properly maintained or cleaned. The condition was far below the standards we expected through Vrbo, especially considering what we paid. There were THICK layers of dust along the carpet. At one point we slightly moved the lamp and you could see the original color of the carpet. Clearly it has not been vacuumed in ages. Heavy traffic areas were soiled and disgusting! We did not feel comfortable stepping out of bed onto the repulsively stained carpet. The bathroom shower curtain was torn and missing hooks, making showering inconvenient and uncomfortable. There was a used rag on the floor beside the toilet. The A/C NEVER worked, the house was consistently at 80+degrees. The living room furniture was visibly soiled, the recliner was ripped and the stuffing coming out. The dinning room chair was broken, and all chairs were visibly soiled. There were dirty dishes in cabinets and drawers. We literally had a serving spoon with leftover eggs on it from previous guest! The "white" towels they provided were dingy and gray. The old and unsanitary towels need immediate replacement! There was a spider smashed into the wall at the entry way. All the window sills were a dusty collection of dead bugs. The amount of dust caused allergic reactions among us leading to sneezing and discomfort. It was hot and dirty; this location ruined our vacation!

Excellent Property!
This place is in an excellent location, is very roomy, and was perfect for our trip to Lake Tahoe. I would highly recommend this rental for groups to stay right outside of the South Lake action.

This place was perfectly located for all kinds of fun. Beds were all super comfy, kitchen big and well stocked. Beware of the stairs if you are not in good shape! Many stairs! We will be back!

Beautiful house
Very nice house and was somewhat picked up when we got there. The upstairs loft area had toys spread all over so that wasn’t expected when the kids/teenagers went up there. There was no BBQ when we got there as it says is listed in the description, which was a bummer because we would’ve brought our own. Besides that the rest of the house was tidy and was a perfect fit for our family.

Heavenly Ski Week
We stayed at this property for a 5 day ski weekend. THe location is perfect in relation to Heavenly and the South Lake Tahoe restaurants and shops. We had 3 adults in our group and the location accommodated our party with plenty of room. First floor with kitchen is nicely updated. Furniture was comfortable and the garage was spacious.

Awesome & The perfect spot!
Lots of space, games, and kitchen equipment. Fast wifi as well. It was the perfect spot and a short 10 min drive in town to ski. Initially thought the hot tub was on the balcony, but it is a community hot tub. Only cons: the wii did not work & fridge filter needed to be replaced. Overall an amazing stay!

Overall good house, but they have a lot to improve! The house has lots of stairs which was not super clear on the description. If you have a child or an elderly person traveling with you be aware of that. The house had lots of big black spiders thats freaked out my kids. There was a strange messy loft over the kitchen which we thought someone is living there. Check out at 10 was a little bit too early and they were not flexible.The dryer and the grill were broken. I did mention everything to the property manager over the phone and all I heard was thank you for your feedback. I have to be honest the house was in a good quiet neighborhood and very close to Heavenly.

Beautiful home.
Enjoyed our stay. Only a few mishaps. Didn’t have the address to start with so was confused. Dryer at the house did not work. Overall was a very nice property. Enjoyed the foosball table and all the games and magazines. Great location, in the central area of all activities. Thank you for responding every time we called immediately. Very much appreciated.

Great positives but also big negatives
1. Great location (near the slopes and downtown, beautiful neighborhood) 2. Spacious 3. Well stocked kitchen 4. Comfortable beds and pillows 5. Updated kitchen, basement bedroom/bath, 2nd floor bath 6. Nice fireplace in living room The negatives: 1. This DOES NOT sleep 10. There are beds, linens (sheets and towels) for 8. The sign by the front door even states the townhouse has a maximum capacity of 10 but only sleeps 8. We had to sleep 2 on the floor. Management said they would bring linens over but never did. 2. There needs to be a lot more attention to the details in cleaning - counters and baths were wiped down well but the master floors (carpet and linoleum) were not. It was like they used a broken vacuum and just vac'd the main part, but didn't move anything or get the edges. -The bathroom mats in the master bath need replaced with mats that can be washed and aren't shredding apart. They were gross- needed wear slippers straight out of the shower (which doesn't drain well). - cobwebs (big dark one behind door in basement bathroom), some small rodent droppings. -inside the master closet needs vacuumed and gone through. - The loft is a mess with storage and dust - The washer was moldy and smelled up the basement and the dryer didn't work - Wipe the inside of the kitchen drawers and clean the cabinet and vent above the stove (oily residue that hasn't been cleaned) This place has great potential but needs attention!

Wonderful stay for a winter ski trip
The place is fantastic. Two rooms with private bathrooms. One room with double beds. That setting fits our group of 10 nicely. Very spacious place. The living room and kitchen and dining area nicely upgraded. Lots of pots and pans and plates and bowls. We cooked all our breakfasts and dinners and often 3-4 chefs were in the kitchen at the same time with no problems. This place is only 10 minutes drive from Heavenly. Everything was good and we really enjoyed our stay.
