Very nice staff who are trying hard but this is a low level large motel that needs some work.before it will be up to standards. Convenient location. Great nearby restaurants. Including best diner “ The Diner at Samsons Supermarket! Hopefully next year they will have Ocean View, motel up to a 4 star level

The staff was not friendly and we requested an extra towel and an extra pillow for our stay and never received them. This hotel was properly priced so no other complaints. They are going through a remodel and has so much potential. Room was clean and we felt safe.

Not as bad as I thought!
Our stay at the ocean inn and suites in Aberdeen, WA was a very interesting one. When I went to check in I was in line behind a couple that just checked in and stated they were not staying and checked right out cause of the cleanliness of their two rooms given. They told me that one room smelled like smoke and the other one the bathroom was not clean (room 108 and 206). We checked in to room 109 hesitantly. There was a spider in the ceiling and like 4 moths flying around so I took care of that. We got into the room and it smelled strongly of pinesol (cleaning product). The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. The toilet was really low so that was interesting. The shower and sink did not drain well and so taking a shower with the water pooling in shower was disgusting. The room has a microwave and refrigerator with a freezer so that was cool. The website does not say that they have those amenities, so it would be good for thst to be advertised. I like that there was a very well lit parking lot so that it made me feel safe to park my car outside.

It's a bare bones place that charged an inordinate amount. For $130, this is simply not worth it. The desk chair was on wheels on a lineoleum (?) floor that had a slope...you couldn't stay still unless you had the chair against the wall. They were still fixing up portions of the building and doing construction/banging until 8pm...

The place looked freshly painted inside and exterior. I liked that the doors to the rooms opened to outside. Convenient for taking my dog outside with plenty of grass area. There was no weather strip at the bottom of the door leaving a inch gap. The room smelled heavily of mold to me. It might have been paint smell not sure.

Were not given the room we reserved but told we would be charged the price we reserved at although the room was substantially different. Advertised as soundproof but kept up both nights by up stairs occupants. Air conditioner was so loud you couldn’t talk above.Window curtains didn’t fit and had to pin shut and hope for no peeping toms. We were in town for family function so had to spend 2nd night. Only stayed until 3 am and decided to drive 3 hrs home because couldn’t sleep for the noise anyway. Booked early and didn’t read other bad reviews that were posted recently. Don’t know who got rooms shown on their post but certainly not us.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and was less than thrilled with just about everything. The property is under construction which was not a big deal until we saw the contractors dumping paint down the storm drain in the parking lot. I had called previously to verify the amount of the damage deposit and was told 50.00 and they ran my card for almost 100.00. Claiming the deposit was one nights stay plus tax… which is a far cry from what they had told me over the phone. The shower leaked so badly we had to mop up the floor afterwards and they make you sign a paper that if you stain or need extra towels they are TWENTY dollars. The beds were comfortable, on the firmer side. The AC worked great. Definitely a you get what you pay for type of property. The coffee shop up the road before the 7-11 was AMAZING
