Conveniently located and comfortable. The television was difficult to navigate and required assistance from reception. Reception isn’t very well prepared to provide simple business functions, such as printing and scanning documents.

The only downside of the stay was when no one answered the phone from in room dining or reception on Friday night. I tried about 3 or 4 times so in the end I had to go to reception to order dinner.

Great location. Cute rooms and decor. Friendly staff. Was given a free upgrade upon checking in, only to have that upgrade rescinded after parking the car and coming back inside with all our luggage and an overtired toddler, and having to go through the check-in process again. There’s not a lot of dining options super nearby, but that’s Adelaide rather than the hotel. Rooms are not at all soundproof. No dinner service on a Sunday night, which meant bar snacks/room service was off the menu too.

Value for its price point
Smart renovation, love the colour scheme. Comfortable for a short stay. Single glazed windows meant lots of condensation in winter giving concern to condensation and risk of mold. Convenient and free street parking found easily out front of hotel each night.

Overall
An overall great stay. We arrived in the peak of a storm that affected the power on a specific level. Due to this we were asked to stay out first night in the adjacent motel. Although, this was not ideal the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and compensated us very fairly. Staff were great and room was brilliant. Location is good but not great.

Really nice rooms and comfy bed. Very clean and great reception staff. More instant coffee would be good...2 sachets just aren't enough but the flavour is nice! Chairs in Balcony would be great. Will definitely stay again if the price is right and recommend. Thank you

Hotel Alba was a delight to stay at, great central location with a beautiful outlook with views across the park. The staff and service was beyond fabulous, friendly and very helpful right from the minute we arrived. We would happily stay at Hotel Alba when visiting Canberra.

Good Choice
The hotel looked new. Our king bedroom was spacious, quiet and with a large TV. Fast complimentary wifi. Good to see toiletries in refillable bottles. We had an evening flight and could get a late afternoon check out for a reasonable fee.

The rooms are fabulous and comfy,clean and modern...a wonderful big Balcony but no chairs to sit out there which I don't quite understand. The pool looks fabulous, didn't use it due to winter No mention if $100 bond or $15 car parking on Hotels.com The Carpark is impractical with larger suitcases.
