A great experience that was ultimately due to the amazing service and leadership offered by the manager. Listening in on his staff appreciation lunch that he put on for the staff his outstanding level of service is definitely working its way through the entire staff.

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughters. Homewood is one of my favourite Hilton brands and I've stayed at this particular location before. My room was clean but I did notice hair in the shower. My primary issue however was that it took over five minutes to run hot water in the shower. This didn't happen last time so I'm thinking there must have been an issue with the water heater in my room or on my floor (5th). This hotel is in a great location with lots of dining options in walking distance. I'm still a fan of the Homewood brand, but the kitchen and living area are a bit outdated.

Terrible Service and Customer Support
I attempted to cancel a prepaid reservation and was denied twice by the manager. Hotels.com customer service stepped in to assist - to no avail. A week before we were supposed to stay at this hotel, Hurricane Helene hit SC where we live. My husband is a first responder and had to stay to support people after this disaster. The hotel manager refused to "waive the non-refundable reservation as that is our policy". I can't support a hotel chain that refuses to support people in a time of need for a very serious situation. STAY AWAY!

What a wonderful property. The staff were smiling and super friendly - the room was extremely clean and fresh. The pool was a bonus and was clean and inviting. A quick walk down the road to a pub for some authentic food - thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.
