I always stay at the Hyatt Place in Poughkeepsie NY. This was my first time staying at the one in Albany NY. Overall great stay!! The down side is the rooms need microwaves for your convenience. Also, there is no place to park besides the parking lot that you have to pay for. It would also be nice to have a pool and jacuzzi. There is a nice pool at the one in Poughkeepsie. Still great stay overall. The bed is always comfortable!! Would definitely stay there again.

When making my reservation, I selected this hotel because they advertised parking was included. To my surprise it was not and I had to park in the nearby parking structure a block away, and had to pay extra each night. This is false advertisement and is not cool.

This hotel is in a very bad area and has almost no convenient parking. The front desk person was hard to understand, was not friendly and mentioned nothing about the parking issue or the dangerous area. Unfortunately, it was raining and I had to walk a long way to the entrance, which is in the back for some reason. No assistance of any kind there. Very nice clean property, but the staff is not into customer service. Also, the hot breakfast was not edible. The fruit was old and the rancid juice permeated my other entrees. I almost barfed. The eggs were nasty fake eggs and the turkey sausage was bad. Should eliminate the breakfast if that is the best you can do. Worst I ever had. I thought Hyatt was supposed to be on the higher end, but other than the room (very nice), it was miserable.
