Upscale, but the staff was welcoming and very gentle. A very nice landing after a long trip. The combination of the staff and the feeling of being in an upscale resort was a lovely feeling. To the point of making excuses to stay there again soon :)

El Verde is a WONDERFUL place to enjoy peace, quiet and serenity. The balcony patio offered a beautiful view of the gardens and golf course and provided a great place to visit and relax.

Convenient and quiet place to stay for balloon fiesta. Quick access to local shopping and restaurants and about 15 minute drive to the park. A bonus was having several balloons land on the golf course during our stay.

We booked this hotel on a long travel day between TX and CO. It was hard to find a place that was dog friendly but still looked like a nicer accommodation. Hotel El Verde was great. It was clearly newly redone and very clean. The front desk staff were very nice and while we only stayed for one night the art throughout to common spaces was very nice ! Would highly recommend staying here 🙃
