Bed sheets were dirty, walls were dirty in cornors, and the shower curtain rod literally hung by a thread and fell off while showering. A/C made a very loud screaming noise when turning off every time. Had a weird smell in hallways and elevators.

We have stayed at this location numerous times, but this time wasn't so great. We decided to stay an additional night in Albuquerque and chose to stay here because it was one of the cheapest rates and because our kids wanted to swim. This property has an indoor pool, but when we checked in we were informed that the pool was not open, due to an incident that occured the day before. I was so upset because our stay was non-refundable, my kids were so ready to get out of the heat and go swimming. I have a 6 year old son who is autistic and helping him understand that he couldn't go swimming was the hardest part. I think it should be important for a hotel to notify guests if there are any issues with their facilities, so that way they may be able to change their booking to a different place.

Air conditioning didn't work, staff did give us another room, but the clerk was very unprofessional and rude about it. There was no breakfast, we waited for over 45 minutes and still didn't get it. We were promised an adjustment on our bill, hope it happens. One of the worst experiences at Windham.
