Our U-Haul was almost stolen from the hotel!

The hotel is nice, but our fully loaded U-Haul truck was almost stolen from in front of the hotel while parked under the bright parking lights by the main entrance. First they tried cutting the padlock off the back, when they couldn’t (glad I researched what lock to use!) they broke into our truck, drilled out the ignition, and tried to steal the whole thing! The gentleman behind the counter felt bad, and was nice, but mentioned that 2 to 3 cars are broken into a year in the hotel parking lot. Be mindful of that.

Other reviews seem a bit unrealistic. This is a standard roadside suite hotel in a strip mall near the freeway. It’s not a 9.4. I had to call the front desk due to a large group of kids playing in the hallway running up and down yelling. They took care of it promptly to their credit. It seems safe but there is really nowhere to walk if you want to go for a stroll. Several chain restaurants are nearby within walking distance though. On the last morning the pipes froze which meant no water until 9am. This is true of basically every hotel in Albuquerque but there is moderate road noise. The heater was fairly loud as well. Breakfast was 1/2 notch above the usual but nothing special. I ended up getting my own bakery items after the first day and just got coffee and sausage at the hotel. So not bad but not anywhere I’d want to stay for more than 3 days.

Not really a Suite!

First the good: The Hotel and Room were very clean and updated. The Breakfast was very good. The Bad: A sofa in the same room does not make it a suite. A Glass Door on the Bathroom???? Even frosted iot was like turning on a light in the bedroom. Terrible. The AC/Heating made a very load noise off and on all night. Woke us up every time. Thr breakfast bar ran out of items and was not restocked because there was not more. We will not stay here again.

It was an okay stay, just okay. The place was clean and they had a variety of breakfast items to choose from, that I give them a plus on. Beds were not comfortable but I mean just to stay overnight to keep on going to your destination the next day is ok, better than sleeping in a vehicle.
