Great location for beach

I am British and was here with my Egyptian husband to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The hotel has its own private beach just across the road (not obvious from the hotel description) which was open until around 7:30 pm, so we were able to relax and swim in the sea most days. There is also a 'beach cafe' next to the beach, although we didn't use this. Within the hotel grounds, there is seating outside, as well as the swimming pool for those who don't want to swim in the sea. The room was nice, clean and airy with views of the sea and streets, and the breakfast was decent too, although at around 87 EGP, there are probably cheaper options. For me, what was missing in the room were tea/coffee making facilities and a Wi-Fi internet connection, but we got round both of these issues. The hotel's location may not be so ideal for those who want to be near the centre of Alex, but is great for those who want to relax away from the main tourist areas.

Dissapointing

Room furniture is very old and need complete renovation. There was no dryer in the bathroom, nothing in the mini bar, floor is in wood and ceramic and overall it cannot be five stars hotel at all. Not recommended at all.
